Wailea Ekahi 48B is a beautifully renovated high end studio unit in one of the nicest resorts in Wailea. We just completed the renovation and the condo now has granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, a renovated bathroom, new furnishings throughout and a new King sized top of the line Sleep Number bed. Your comfort is very important to us. By re-configuring the kitchen cabinetry, we created a more welcoming, open atmosphere.

This condo is perfect for a couple or for someone traveling alone. Being a studio unit, it’s smaller in size than a 1 BR unit, however at the same time, it can save you some money that can be spent elsewhere on the many activities that Maui offers. That being said, Wailea Ekahi 48B is not your typical studio. The unit is very spacious and the floor plan is very comfortable for a couple. The floor plan in the Ekahi studio units was well thought out by the designers of the resort. The condo also has a kitchen with dishwasher, a full bathroom (no tub), a washer and dryer and a private lanai with a gas BBQ.

Policies and Cancellation Terms

• A 2 night deposit confirms the reservation.
• Balance is due 60 days before arrival.
• No Smoking/Pets
• We will offer free early or late check outs if the dates allow
• No cleaning fees for stays longer than 7 nights
• Maximum occupancy: 2

-Any and all cancellations $300 service charge per unit.
-Prior to 60 days of arrival- Refund less $300 service per unit.
-Within 60 days of arrival - Full amount forfeited unless unit is re-rented.
-Within 60 days of arrival - No reduction of dates to reservation.
-If balance is not received by due date you will have cancelled your reservation.
-Cancellation Insurance is advised.
-ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Not permitted. Security deposit will be forfeited.
-SECURITY DEPOSIT: $300 - Refund, minus loss, damage or excessive cleaning charge. 30 days after your departure.
-NOTE: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.

  • My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and well kept up, loved the beach, the pool and pavilion were very nice. Everything we needed was found in the unit. We would enjoy coming back at a future date.

    My only negative comment would be that I thought there was insufficient lighting in the parking lot at night.

  • We stayed here for four glorious nights and were sad to leave. The unit is very well maintained, very clean with updated kitchen and bath. Perfect for a couple! King size bed is very comfortable and adjustable.(Sleep number mattress).

    The pictures on website are exactly what you get! The kitchen has everything you need to cook complete meals. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, glasses, coffee mugs, wine glasses, storage containers for leftovers. Coffee maker with filters. Previous guests left coffee and there are some spices and condiments available too.

    Bathroom is beautiful with plenty of towels. There were also extra beach towels, two beach chairs, umbrella and cooler, everything you need for a day at the beach or pool. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the lanai. Only downfall that I even hate to mention is that there is no view of ocean or mountains from this unit. Wailea Ekahi is a huge property and this unit is located quite a distance from the beach, we usually just packed up the car and parked in the public parking lot located down by the big swimming pool which is quite convenient. The big swimming pool is beautiful and overlooks the Keawakapa beach. Lots of beach chairs, tables to eat on, shade.

    The best time to snorkel is early morning from 7am-10am when water is calm and no wind. Some afternoons winds pick up and ocean becomes quite rough. Nice snorkeling right in front of property near rocks. Lots of fish and sea turtles.

    We found even better snorkeling about 10 min drive south at Maluaka Beach (google it for directions). We watched two turtles feeding on rocks right off beach for over an hour. This area is nicknamed Turtle Town! There is better parking on south end of beach and less of a walk to sandy area. No lifeguard. The water is very clear and gets deep so be prepared with some sort of floating device if you are not an excellent swimmer. Colors of the coral is amazing, lots of fish and of course sea turtles!! Loved this beach.

    For early mornings walks or jogs you must hit the Wailea Coastal path with begins in front of the Andaz hotel right next door. This cement path goes approx. 1 1/2 miles south to Polo Beach.

    We enjoyed Happy Hour at the Five Palms restaurant which is located about 5 min drive north on Kihei Rd at the Mani Kai. Perfect for sunset viewing.

    Overall would not hesitate to stay here again. We had a fantastic time in Wailea!!

  • Such a great location and condo was so perfect for our week vacation! We cooked several meals in the condo and had everything we needed. The towels and bedding were perfect. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
